Robert T. Bray
President and CEO, TSI Global Companies
As President and CEO of TSI Global, Mr. Bray is responsible for financial and managerial aspects, establishing the strategic direction of the firm, and for telecommunications engineering, installation and technical consulting. His responsibilities also include preparation of bid packages, project management including project planning, scheduling and cost control.
A native of Lincoln County, Missouri, Bray started his career in 1984 as a maintenance worker for LDX Telecom Services. When TSI spun off from LDX in 1987, Bray, just one of 14 TSI employees, took the position of Senior Technician and later Corporate Sales Manager. Bray excelled as he gained experience in every facet of the telecommunications industry – in sales, customer relations, project management, supervision, installation, and scheduling – leading to his appointment as Vice President of TSI in 1996.
In 2002, TSI moved to a new building in St. Charles that currently houses its offices and training facility. The same year, Bray became TSI’s President. Under his leadership, TSI has been recognized as a member of the “Fast 50” list of technology companies from the Regional Commerce and Growth Association for four consecutive years, and was named Employer of the Year in 2001.
Bray’s dedication to the community is well known. He provided funding for a new baseball field in his hometown and hosts an annual charity golf tournament for Shriners Hospitals.
Bray is a member of BICSI and received his Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification in 1996 and has completed various BICSI certified training courses. In addition, he holds several manufacturers certifications from companies including Ortronics, Hubbell Premise Wiring, Panduit, Siecor, Belden, and AT&T.
Ron Kurtz, Sr.
Chief Operating Officer, TSI Global Companies
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Ron is responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver TSI’s products and services. He is charged with driving world-class results in customer satisfaction, cash management, and cost competitiveness as well as accelerating the pace of change that contributes to TSI Global Companies’ execution capabilities and operational excellence.
Previous to his current position, Ron was Director of Solution Operations for TSI Integrated Technologies where he was responsible for order management, system design, and engineering operations.
In addition to his accomplishments at TSI, Ron is a proven results-driven executive leader with 20+ years experience at Ideacom/Capital GBS Communications where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Sales Engineer, Service Manager, and Director of Network Products. He also held the roles of Branch Manager and Operations Manager with Honeywell Communications Services.
Ron served in the U.S. Air Force as a telecommunications specialist and is a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He resides in Eureka, Missouri.
Malcolm J. Klearman
Chief Financial Officer, TSI Global Companies
Malcolm Klearman holds the position of Chief Financial Officer of TSI, responsible for directing financial function of the company and advising management of financial matters.
Mr. Klearman has over 30 years of extensive hands-on experience in finance and management with tenures at Joseph C. Sansone Co., Marcone Appliance Parts Co., and Landmark Bancshares Corporation where he held executive-level positions. Recently, he was providing consulting services to assist companies with their unusual and/or extraordinary business issues.
Mr. Klearman holds a BS in Business Administration, Cum Laude, and an MA in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He holds the title of CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jay R. Kurtz, Sr.
President, TSI Integrated Technologies
In his role as President, Kurtz leads TSI’s Integrated Technologies organization, which addresses the voice, wireline, wireless and managed communications requirements of enterprises ranging from small to medium businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Kurtz has full accountability for driving the success of TSI’s Integrated Technologies business, which is committed to leading the evolution of voice and data communications toward converged multimedia networks.
Kurtz joined TSI with the sale of STL Online, the company he founded in 2002. Kurtz has served in numerous executive-level positions, most recently as Vice President of Technology for Emmaus Homes, a leading provider of services in the MRDD industry. At Emmaus, he helped lead the company through a complete infrastructure redesign in 2004, enacting a 24-month plan to rebuild the company’s IT infrastructure.
Kurtz’s career spans nearly 20 years and includes tenures with Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and SynOptics, including numerous advisory roles and team-lead responsibility in business planning, technical design, and organizational development.
Kurtz served in the Missouri Air National Guard, including activation for Desert Shield/Storm where he was recognized for meritorious service.
Born and educated in St. Louis, Kurtz now lives in Wildwood, MO with his children.
